  • How does it work?
    Five injection points will be administered on each side of your face. PROFHILO® subsequently triggers your skin to generate increased collagen and attracts more moisture for enhanced hydration. This treatment is ideal for refining skin texture, addressing minor sagging, reducing fine lines, and addressing mild acne scarring. The advantages encompass achieving natural outcomes, preserving facial movements and shape, and attaining a radiant complexion.
  • Does it hurt?
    The procedure is swift, yet it may cause a mild stinging sensation. This is due to the injection being delivered to an area rich in nerve endings.
  • When can I go back to work?
    Following this procedure, your skin will exhibit a gentle sunburn-like appearance, with possible temporary redness, dryness, and slight sensitivity. For the initial 24 hours after treatment, we recommend refraining from applying any makeup or skincare products, except for the provided home care kit, which is designed to soothe and hydrate your skin. Once this brief period elapses, you can comfortably resume your regular activities and makeup application.
  • What should I avoid after Skinpen?
    For the first 24 hours after the procedure, refrain from using any skincare products, including SPF, on the treated area. It's also important to avoid touching the treated area during this period. For the following 7 days post-procedure, steer clear of exfoliating products and active skincare items like retinols and vitamin C. Additionally, for the initial 48 hours after treatment, it's advisable to avoid activities such as exercising, using saunas, swimming, or visiting spas.
  • How long will results last?
    The duration of your results will be determined by the extent of your skin concern. Visible results typically become apparent between 4 to 6 weeks after the treatment, once your body has generated fresh collagen. While certain types of scarring may experience permanent improvement, we advise regular maintenance treatments for all skin concerns to achieve the desired results. To maximize the outcomes of in-clinic treatments, we recommend incorporating medical-grade skincare products into your regimen.
  • What happens at my appointment?
    Initially, we will commence by meticulously cleansing your skin. Subsequently, employing a medical-grade, sterilized blade, we will gently perform precise strokes across the skin's surface at an angle. This process effectively eliminates vellus hair and dead skin cells, culminating in a noticeable improvement in skin texture, leaving it smoother and more radiant.

If you are prone to rashes, cold sores, or fever blisters, kindly inform your practitioner. For those with active acne, there are alternative treatments that may be more advantageous, and it's essential to wait until breakouts have healed before considering this procedure.
